Abstract
SAC's update (See SRO Statistics 1995) on the SICA-reported statistics for participating self-regulatory organizations charts a three-year breakout for seven arbitration forums. Commentary examines declining caseload trends among the smaller forums, mergers and shifts changing the profile of the SRO arbitration program, NASD's continuing ascendancy, and dramatically reduced caseload projections for 1998.
Individual forum and group statistics are posted for six indices of arbitration activity, along with caveats on interpreting customer wins ("Awards in Favor of Public") and a look at the composition of case close-outs.
