Abstract
This survey covers the first 273 publicly available Awards tabulated by SAC (issued 1989). A brief text reviews the SAC survey methodology and protocols. Caveats address the sketchy information on early public Awards and adjust for missing data. Customer-initiated cases (the large majority) and Industry-initiated cases are reviewed; punitive damage and attorney fee claims are highlighted for analysis and review.
